list of arrests in the south bay. agents and police swarming the streets of san jose to take down a criminal network. this is a story you will see only on nbc bay area. we have the story on the raids in the newsroom. damian. >> reporter: the fbi is being tight-lipped saying the affidavits remain sealed. this is video we shot this morning at the blossom hill apartments. this is one of several locations hit. we saw agents in suits making one arrest. we understand s.w.a.t. teams lent a hand in the action. about an hour ago, the san francisco office of the fbi would say it is the lead agency and its gang task force in the south bay was in charge of the operation. >> i can't comment on the number of officers out there. there was an appropriate number of tactical personnel and fbi

s.w.a.t. personnel involved in addition to numerous others across the san jose area. >> reporter: the fbi tells me the federal affidavits should be unsealed by the end of today. they will provide more details at that time. we will stay on top of this story and bring you the latest online and on the news at 5:00. i'm damian trujillo, nbc bay area news. thank you. an early-morning fire forced a berkeley family out of their home this morning. this cell phone video shows the fire at its peak at the home on benvenue avenue just after midnight. five people were inside. one in a wheelchair. police officers on scene rushed in to help. >> the police officers removed her and reported that the heat and smoke were just above their heads. they entered into an atmosphere which would be challenging. >> and they are heros? >> in my mind, they are heroes.

>> the back of the home is severely damaged. crews will have to excavate the back of the home to find the source of the fire. no one was hurt. marla, a man remains hospitalized this morning after being shot overnight. now police are searching for whoever pulled the trigger at 11:00 last night on ezie street. the victim is expected to survive. so far, nobody is under arrest. police right now have not released the description of any possible suspects. the body of a second fisherman missing since sunday has been found on a beach north of pigeon point. the man was one of four friends from san francisco on a boat that capsized near half moon bay. two of the four were wearing life jackets. those two survived and swam to shore for help. the body of the first missing man washed ashore on monday.

the two men who died were not wearing life jackets. demanding justice. protesters taking over the city council meeting in oakland last night demanding more information on a deadly police shooting that happened five months ago. the family and about 75 supporters of 18-year-old alan bluford packed the chambers for two hours. the family was given a copy of the police report. something they have been asking the police for since the shooting happened. bluford was shot and killed back in may after police say he tried to run away. police said he was killed in an exchange of gunfire that injured the police officer. they later changed the story and the gun believed to be bluford's believed to be recovered from the scene was not. the district attorney and oakland police are still investigating the shooting.

the protest comes as a federal report comes to light accusing oakland police of being too quick to pull the trigger. a court-appointed monitor says officers sometimes shoot at suspects even though they may not face immediate danger. the monitor says officers may be quote, hypersensitive to the dangers of their job. the detectives seem to be predisposed of the shooting is justified. the officer-involved shootings appear to be cases that have the most deficiencies. and in response to the report, the head of the officers union tells "the chronicle" our officers see more violence in a shift than many officers see in an entire year. there is a plan to outsource police. a move that will be left up to voters in milpitas. at the packed meeting, council

deciding if voters decide if they should contract out with the sheriff's office. the city council will now vote on an official resolution at the next meeting to put this plan on the ballot. the oakland a's are red hot. they beat the texas rangers and they have one game to go. the division title is up for grabs in the last game of the regular season. nbc bay area's christie smith is live at the coliseum where a sellout crowd is gathering for the first pitch. >> reporter: you are hearing a lot of "let's go oakland." we are 90 minutes from game town. everyone hoping for the sweep. people were lined up at the gate at 8:00 trying to get in. tickets for today's game are gone. they are available for other games.

this morning, fans feeling great about the a's team heading into the final game with the rangers. the a's needed a win to grab that first playoff berth since 2006. they did that monday. it will hold more value because of the addition of the second wild card. this excitement has the coliseum absolutely jam packed. after last night's win, 10,000 tickets sold immediately for today's game. the first fan in line that i spoke with couldn't score one, but he's not giving up. >> not for today's game, but the division. that's what we're here for this morning. i'll be here in spirit. >> reporter: what will you do? >> get tickets or see if my buddies get tickets. major disappointment. i'll get in one way or the other. >> oakland is working hard. if they do well, it will bring in more revenue for oakland. it's a great thing. >> reporter: last night, the a's

took it 3-1 setting up the showdown for the american league west. in the past, attendance is not what they want. 31,000 fans last night. the director of ticket sales told us was still up for grabs. >> still a wild card game which could happen on friday. we are selling division series tickets that are home game one or home game two or home game three. depending on which game you buy, when we put dates and times on the tickets and you will know which game to come to. >> reporter: those division champions goes to the division series. that is the best of five. the loser plays a wild card game friday. which ever team does not win the american league east. for today, though, a lot of fans say they are going to do whatever they can to try to somehow come up on a ticket. if not, it looks to me like a lot of them are just saying we will tailgate and have fun and support the team from the parking lot. reporting live in oakland,
